Department description
Oracle Applications Product Group (APG) focus on product development, solution development based on Oracle Applications products such as E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel CRM, JDE, OFSS etc. We work closely with Oracle Headquarter, APAC and India Development Center to develop new products, APAC localizations and industry solutions in Finance, HRMS, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) areas.
The Oracle Reveleus Basel II solution uses an advanced data management approach to provide a fully transparent “ready to go” set of advanced analytical applications that combine pre-built data structures, pre-packaged computational engines, pre-designed information delivery templates, and a unifying reference language. This standardized approach enables institutions to achieve Basel II compliance in a quick, “de-risked” manner, thereby eliminating the need for expensive custom programming and time-consuming application maintenance. Subsequently, financial institutions can drastically reduce their time-to-production and increase their competitive advantage.
Brief Position Description:
As a Product Manager of Oracle Financial Services Reveleus product, you will focus on the localization requirements of Reveleus product for China and other geographies as well. You will be responsible for understanding the detailed business requirements related to local regulation and banking Practices, conducting business solution design and support the development team with your functional domain expertise.
KEY OBJECTIVE
To ensure that product deliverables meet customer requirements;
To ensure that maximum customer satisfaction is obtained;
To build product expertise within the whole the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Understand detailed business requirements related to local regulation and banking Practices, Basel II in particular & document the same
b) Understand Local (China Banking ) business (Asset classification, Product Classes, GL structure and Codes, Mitigants etc) and document the same
c) Review and support modifying/defining Logical Data Model and Business metadata
d) Localization of Business Metadata
e) Perform System testing with Chinese Data
f) Prepare user documentations
g) Presales support and POC as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Chinese & English knowledge with good communication skills
2. Knowledge in the areas of Basel II Accord & Local Regulator Requirement and Financial Reporting
3. Min 5 years of Business Analyst Experience
4. Knowledge of Chinese Banking & Regulatory practices
5. Prior Data Warehouse/BI implementation experience
6. Data modeling
7. Pl/SQL Knowledge and Experience
