Oracles translation organization, WPTG (Worldwide Product Translation Group) provides translation services to Oracle product development organizations. WPTG is looking for a technically strong Manager to lead the WPTG QA engineering team based in Beijing. WPTG is a global organization with presence in 30+ countries. WPTG is at the forefront of integrating Oracle acquired product lines and we are looking for a high caliber professional to lead the QA engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Team manager you will be responsible for QA strategy, methodology, schedules, tools & process for translated product lines. The manager will lead a team of experienced engineers with responsibility for QA of Oracles translated product lines. This role will involve liasing with groups globally both within WPTG and Oracle product development. You will be expected to contribute at a senior level in WPTG.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
· Develop & drive the QA strategy for translated products
· Define the quality assurance methodology and test case infrastructure for translated releases
· Build, manage and develop a team of highly technical and talented engineers
· Develop and maintain close co-operation with Oracle development organizations
· Implement & manage process for RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and drive value upstream in development process.
· Build a highly automated Test Infrastructure to drive value across all product lines & languages

COMPETENCIES
· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and ability to mentor and grow teams and individuals
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin; ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
· Strong Oracle product knowledge in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Database is highly desired;
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to evaluate existing processes & strategy and propose change to improve group efficiency and standards.
· Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of software development, product translation/localization/globalization & internationalization process
· An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, balancing a proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results-orientated nature
· Strong technical background with an understanding of the issues and processes required to deliver high quality software solutions
· Self-driven and self motivated;
· Proven record of delivering
· Knowledge of automated testing systems and be familiar with testing methodologies & tools
· A detailed knowledge of Java and development methodologies.
· Knowledge of web-based applications development, including experience or familiarity with some of the following is highly desirable: J2EE, XML, JSF, AJAX, Oracle.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Although not definitive, the ideal candidate will typically have the following:
8+ years in Software Development or Development QA Industry Localization/Translation/, experience in a Management role a plus
Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Science or equivalent;
