Mobile payment application testing\ Beijing \ QA Manager

We’re looking for a QA and Program Manager to work alongside our highly skilled developers and production team to help us deliver better product and even better customer service.

We don’t have a QA or Program team at the moment, this work is done by our developer team.  But we have identified the need for a full time person in charge if this activity and we are all really excited by this new challenge – you’ll have the full support of everyone within the company.

Famoco (www.famoco.com) is a small international technology company specialized in developing products & services for Mobile Payment (let you pay taxi/subway with your mobile, purchase something in a shop and pay with your phone).  We work with big customer like China Mobile, Nokia, Taiwan Mobile, Borgs, …

Our products are mobile application (software running on the mobile phone) working on various phones (Nokia, Sonyericson, HTC, oPhone, …) and your main objectives will be to ensure that all our products are thoroughly tested, and meet our customer’s quality expectation.

Your responsibilities will be:

  1. Communicate with customers to refine the requirement and help the development team to understand better what the customer need.
  2. Communicate with customers a write or review Acceptance Test Plan.
  3. Analyze the requirement and design test plan (master & cycle) and test cases (manual and automated) accordingly.
  4. Execute test cycles to ensure high-quality, successful releases.
  5. Write bug-report in our tracking system and prioritize bugs.
  6. Track the bugs, help the development team to diagnose them..
  7. Authorize or reject a release according to the level of quality
  8. Communicate with company management to improve QA Procedures.
  9. Hire and train QA engineer when volume of test activity is growing.

Required:

  1. Bachelor/Master degree in computer science.
  2. One or 2 years of experience in QA & Testing.
  3. Excellent English.  You’ll be reading/writing/speaking English on daily basis.  Also communicating with some customer in English.
  4. Understanding of QA best practices (including test case development, test case execution, bug reports, etc.) and knowledge of software development cycle.
  5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to understand and resolve technical issues, and excellent customer-service skills
  6. Excellent work ethic and attention to detail. Very organized. Fast learner.
